Narcolepsy

Narcolepsy, "sleep epilepsy"

“The eyes of those who suffer from this disease do not distinguish between day and night, they simply close suddenly, without warning, without fatigue being the cause that leads them to lose themselves in sleep. It is something that is beyond your control. They may be working, writing, driving, and without realizing it, they fall asleep.”

Narcolepsy is a disabling disease that affects many people around the world. Narcolepsy is a frankly underdiagnosed pathology, there are no reliable data. While, in Western nations, it is estimated that its incidence is between 20 and 60 per 100,000 inhabitants, the majority being male.
